This handsome boy, Kai, is a lab mix who came to Misty Eyes, along with his siblings, from a high-kill shelter. He was adopted, but, sadly was recently returned due to family changes. Kai is a somewhat high-strung dog and is not recommended for apartment living. He can be very vocal. He does best with a fenced yard where he can free roam. Kai is a strong puller on-leash and definitely needs some behavior modification training. He is excitable and lunges when meeting other dogs on leash, or when meeting strangers. Because he is excitable and boisterous, he would do best with children over the age of 12. Kai is housebroken and crate-trained, although he is not a fan of being crated.
