After the adoption fee paid and contract(s) signed, the dog or puppy can be picked up or transported. Transportation is included in the adoption fee if you live outside of Texas. Pets going on transport will have a health certificate completed by a veterinarian declaring the pet healthy for transport. Read more on transport below. If a dog/puppy goes to their forever home without being spayed or neutered, the adopter needs to sign a sterilization contract - promising they will get their dog/puppy spayed or neutered. Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. If a dog is adopted out of state, they will arrive to their destination via ground transport, unless the adopter will pick up.
