WAGS has someone super special to introduce: meet Kahlua! Kahlua is a female Pitbull mix between 1-1.5 years old. She is spayed and current on vaccinations.<br/><br/>Kahlua came to the WAGS program after being found running loose locally along a busy road. She was so frightened that we had to carry her everywhere within the hospital. Luckily, at only 35lbs fully-grown, she's pint-sized and very portable!<br/><br/>Kahlua is the sweetest and most gentle velvet hippo! She is very tolerant and willing-to-please. She loves cuddles, belly rubs, and playing with new toys. She needs to work on her confidence though. Currently, she is afraid of walking through doorways/thresholds, bags blowing in the wind, and walking new places on a leash in general.<br/><br/>With minimal encouragement, however, Kahlua has already made progress on these items during her time here at WAGS. She loves a treat, and will really benefit from positive reinforcement training. She already knows "Sit", but will need to work on the rest.<br/><br/>Kahlua loves people, but needs to meet them on her level so they don't feel like giants to her. She has shown interest in dogs, and a confident (but not overbearing) pup could be the key to helping her overcome her insecurities.<br/><br/>Best of all, this pocket pittie is just the right size to fit in your life!
