Kahlua's Story
Introducing... Kahlua!

Kahlua's story began the way too many dogs' stories do—she was found abandoned after being dumped in the town of Denton. Despite that heartbreaking start, this sweet young hound mix hasn't let it dim her spirit; Kahlua is ready to leave her past behind and find the family she's always deserved.

Like many young hounds, Kahlua is full of energy and curiosity! She loves to play with other dogs and is happiest when she has room to run, wrestle, and enjoy life. She's described as shy at first, but incredibly sweet once she settles in, and her playful personality shines through. She enjoys just about every toy you can offer and is always up for a game.

Kahlua gets along well with other dogs and has lived successfully with dogs of all sizes. She does like to play rough, so canine friends who enjoy an active play style would be a great match. She's also been around children and enjoys them, though her enthusiasm may accidentally knock over little ones, so a home with older children may be the best fit.

As a typical young dog, Kahlua is still learning. She's making progress with leash walking and recall, is only partially house trained, and has not yet been crate trained, so she'll need a family willing to continue her training with patience and positive reinforcement. Her eager personality and young age make her a wonderful candidate for learning all the skills she'll need to become an amazing companion.

If you're looking for a fun-loving adventure buddy who's ready to trade her difficult beginning for a lifetime of love, Kahlua might just be your perfect match. With a little guidance, plenty of exercise, and a family committed to helping her continue to grow, this sweet hound girl is sure to reward you with years of loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love.

Kahlua is currently in South Carolina and is ready to make the trip north. She's looking for either a foster home or a foster-to-adopt home to welcome her when she arrives.

Fostering is completely free—we provide all food, supplies, and veterinary care. All you need to provide is a safe, loving home and plenty of love while she waits for her forever family.

If you've been thinking about adopting but would like to make sure Kahlua is the perfect fit first, our foster-to-adopt program is a wonderful option. It gives you the opportunity to welcome her into your home before finalizing the adoption, making the transition easier for everyone while ensuring it's the right match.

Transport arrives in the Pottstown, PA, area with morning pickup.

If you've been thinking about fostering or adopting, Kahlua would love to be the reason you say yes.

To learn more about fostering, fostering-to-adopt, or adopting Kahlua, or if you have any questions, please email us at mostlymuttz@gmail.com.

www.mostlymuttz.org

Link to Kahlua's bio: https://www.wagtopia.com/search/pet?id=2801662&name=Kahlua

Mostly Muttz Rescue,

PO Box 406, Gilbertsville, PA 19525
PA Kennel License 10872
