8/7/25: Kagome is about two and a half years old, weighs 37 pounds, and has tested negative for heartworms. She was surrendered by her owner who simply did not want her. She is stocky and strong on-leash but curious on her walks and loves treats (but doesn't mind taking a finger along the way). Right now we are recommending a home with no small children to give her the space and time to let her know she is safe.
