Hi there! My name is Kace, and I’m one happy, energetic, and wicked-smart dude looking for my forever family. I am around 2 years old, weigh 14 lbs. and am a possible schnauzer/terrier mix. I walk great on a leash and can't wait for my daily walks. I love all people and pretty much every animal I meet. When you come home, I’ll be right at the door wagging my tail and bouncing with joy—I just can’t help it, I get so excited to see you! I’m full of happiness and ready to share all of it with someone who will love me back. I love, love playing with toys, so a good variety in my future home would make me very happy. I ride well in a car safely tethered in of course (I do need a boost up getting in though). I love sleeping with my person at night, but am also learning crate training. I’m working hard on learning my manners—like going potty outside and remembering not to chase my cat brother. Honestly, I just want to play with him, but sometimes I get a little too excited. He’s slowly warming up to me though! Sometimes when I get super playful, I think nipping is a fun way to say “let’s play!”—but my foster family is teaching me that there are better ways. I’m a fast learner, and I’m already understanding that nipping isn’t the best choice. I am told that if the home has kids, little ones may be afraid of my nipping, so older kids may be best for me. I am not a big barker, nor am I a big shedder, so I will need to be brushed daily and groomed on a regular basis. I have lots of energy so a fenced yard would be best for me, and a playmate would be ideal. I am learning to play fetch as you can see in my video.
