Juno's Story

Juno is a sweet, energetic, wonderfully curious 2-year-old husky who's ready to find his forever home! This handsome boy is happiest when he's out and about—running, taking long walks, exploring new scents, or getting in a good play session. He never says no to belly rubs or a car ride, and he's absolutely full of life and love.

Juno genuinely loves every dog and human he meets, big or small. Even at the dog park when other dogs get grumpy or don't match his playful style, Juno stays calm, friendly, and easygoing. He's a gentle soul who's socially adept and gets along beautifully with both male and female dogs, neutered or not.

Juno knows his basic commands—sit, stay, come, leave it, down, and paw—and does well indoors when distractions are low. He settles nicely when left at home and, after a minute or two of worried whining, becomes calm and quiet until you return.

At around 1 year old, Juno is in his "teenage" phase with bursts of goofy energy and occasional teenage attitude gets a little mouthy when playing like most huskies. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he's already showing great progress!

A Dog Named Black Jack Animal Rescue Recovery, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Our typical adoption process requires potential adopters to first fill out an adoption application. This does not guarantee adoption but rather serves as a tool for us to revise the adopter's information and qualifications to adopt. After being revised, we will conduct a phone call interview with the potential adopter to learn more. If they are approved after these two procedures, we will require them to sign an adoption agreement and pay an adoption fee before they receive their new pet.
