Junior's Story

Meet Junior - your future favorite coworker, cuddle buddy, and zoomie champion

Junior is a 6-year-old, 15-pound bundle of personality packed into the perfect "fun-size" companion. He's sweet, independent, and happiest when he's right by your side - whether that's curled up in bed, lounging in a chair with you, or snoozing nearby while you work. If you've ever wanted the ultimate "office dog," Junior is your guy.

He does great with other dogs (even the big ones!) and truly enjoys having a canine buddy around. He's kennel trained, making wonderful progress with potty training, and he's very food motivated - which means training time = bonding time (and he never says no to a treat).

After a recent vet visit and getting on the medication he needs, Junior is feeling fantastic. He's playful, happy, and fully embracing life - complete with adorable zoomies and a talent for stealing hearts.

Now for the important part:
Junior has epilepsy and will need to stay on Phenobarbital twice a day for life. The good news? His medication is affordable, his seizures are very manageable when he stays on his meds, and it doesn't slow him down one bit. He is joyful, loving, and full of life - his diagnosis is just one small part of his story.

Junior would thrive in a home looking for a low-maintenance, chill companion who also enjoys a little playtime and fun. He's the perfect mix of relaxed and playful - a tiny dog with a big heart.

If you're ready for a loyal little sidekick who will lounge with you, love you endlessly, and brighten your everyday life, Junior is waiting.

Apply to adopt Junior here:
https://forms.zohopublic.com/nhrescueinc/form/ApplicationForm/formperma/mvnbaiv4DZWR4D4i_DNWqwFWqFU5ozOxvCdwps5a_
