JUNIOR's Story

JUNIOR IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!❤️🙏❤️
AFLAR volunteer, Noelle, shared this about him.
“I have been trying to walk Junior once a week. He is an awesome dog. He is now greeting me with a big smile when I show up. He is a very easy walker, handles the leash very well...loves his snacks & will huddle against me when he is scared by something. He was grabbing snacks in an unthinking way but now he is taking them relatively gently. Not sure if someone has been working with him on that....if you have been, thanks! It has been noticed.
Junior would make an awesome companion for some one!”
Bonus!!! Junior has had some training too!
Here is what his trainer shared about him.
“Junior is a thoughtful, treadmill-trained German Shepherd who loves structure, routine, and taking life at his own pace. He can be left alone comfortably and thrives with calm, patient guidance.
💛 Bonds quickly with women
🎾 Loves fetch & regular exercise
🧠 Needs mental stimulation and continued training
🏡 Best in an adult-only childfree home with an experienced adopter
Once he trusts you, Junior’s playful, loyal personality truly shines. He’s looking for a steady, predictable home where he can grow in confidence and be your devoted companion. Junior is 7 years old, helthy and a happy guy lloking for a home to love and be loved in.
📍 Available at Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center
📞 (805) 525-8609
Give Junior the patient, loving home he deserves. 🐶💙
