Junior's Story

Years after being in his home, Junior’s people suddenly became allergic to him … at least that was the “reason” given for abandoning Junior at the county shelter. Scared, alone and depressed, Junior lost all hope as people continually passed him by. “Black dog syndrome” is real.

What we know about Junior is that he LOVES to go for ice cream outings! Bruster’s and Pelicans are two of his favorite hangouts. After ice cream, Junior frequently goes home with his favorite pal, Katie. Junior does AWESOME in a home! He is well mannered, house trained and very loving!

While Junior prefers to be the only dog in the home and does best with older kids, he has proven that he will be the most loyal companion and best buddy to a very special home!
