June's Story
This cutie pie named June is a super sweet pit mix. He has had no trouble adjusting to the staff, and enjoys children including young ones. June will go crazy over an empty food bowl and likes to find productive ways to entertain himself by smacking his bowl around.

June came from a Houston area individual who rescues animals. She has birds and other rescues that June didn't get along as well with so she put in a request to transfer him to us. He was anxious on the car ride here but he adjusted immediately to our staff and other dogs. While his previous caretaker said he does well with other dogs, we have not introduced him to any of his fellow residents yet. He has done well with young children, but due to his size, he knocks them over. He walks well on a leash and does well being walked around vehicles and new people. He is completely house-trained. All around, he's just an adorable, sweet guy.

While he is a even-tempered dog in general, he has a few triggers. The biggest ones are: 1) being muzzled; and 2) the vet. We have limited experience with him in the car. If you have any questions or situations, feel free to contact us via email or social media.
