June's Story
**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. For adoption information go to: www.homewardbounddogrescue.com. You must fill out an application online as we do NOT accept applications at our clinics.

June is a 13-week-old, 12lb Aussie/Border Collie mix up-for-adoption with Homeward Bound Dog Rescue of New York. She is a VERY smart little lady and super motivated to learn new tricks and commands. She came up with the rest of her “Country Stars” litter and seems to be one of the smallest ones. June is doing really well with the other dogs and puppies in her foster home. She’s an easy keeper and medium energy. June is crate-trained and doing well with housebreaking for her age. She would make a great family dog or pet for outdoorsy folks who love to walk and hike. We’d love to see smarty-pants June in some doggie obedience classes, too!

Apply online!
www.homewardbounddogrescue.com

Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
