Juliet 's Story

Juliet and Hamlet are a pair of super cute puppies looking for responsible and permanent homes! These pups arrived to the shelter as strays in not-so-great condition. We don't know much about their history, but I think it's safe to assume these babies had never even been inside before being brought to WHS. Luckily they are only about three months old and well within their socialization window, so they can make up for that lost time. Like any puppy, Hamlet will need: socialization (this is so important to start at a young age!), consistent positive reinforcement based training, and lots of attention! Puppies cannot be left alone for more than a few hours at a time, so Juliet will need to go to a home where someone is present often to give her the attention she needs. We cannot be 100% sure about breed, but we suspect these puppies have some heeler or pointer in them. Dogs bred for herding and hunting are extremely intelligent and high energy. They will need a considerable amount of exercise and mental stimulation to keep them occupied, and would therefore do best with an active person who will bring them along on their adventures. Hamlet has been microchipped, dewormed, spayed and is current on vaccines. Application for adoption can be found on the rescue's website.

https://poidogrescue.org/adopt-form/
