WELCOME TO CHI-TOWN, JULIEN! 💙 Oh good. Another blue boy with a face that makes grown adults lose all ability to make rational decisions. Meet Julien. This young handsome fella came into DuPage County Animal Services as a stray and apparently decided the fastest way out was to start collecting staff and volunteers like Pokémon. And it worked. 😂 Because it didn’t take long before Julien became that dog. “Have you met Julien?” “Did you see Julien today?” “Julien is SO GOOD.” “Somebody needs to take Julien.” Alright, alright. WE HEARD YA. Nobody came to reclaim this handsome little blue meatball, and meanwhile he’s back there building himself an entire fan club. So naturally... We came for him. ❤️ We don’t know where Julien’s been or how a young dog this ridiculously lovable ended up wandering around without a person. But that’s old business. He’s got a foster. He’s got a rescue. He’s got approximately half of DuPage already emotionally invested in his future. Kid works fast. 😂 Welcome to Chi-Town, Julien. 💙 Your stray days are over, buddy. All good things from here.

Chi-Town Pitties, Inc's Adoption Policy

The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application (applicant must be at least 23 years of age). Once your application is received a volunteer will contact you to discuss your application. All references listed will be contacted, along with a call to your veterinarian to make sure your current/former pets are/were up to date on all vaccinations. We also complete a background check and home visit will be performed. Once all that is complete, and application is approved, we will arrange meet and greets with our adoptables that may be a good fit for your family and lifestyle. If a perfect match is found, an adoption contract will need to be signed, along with an adoption fee.
