Julie-3/11/14 Cockapoo Mix Lambertville, NJ

JULIE was adopted from Animal Alliance about 6 years ago & is now losing her home become the child in her home Is highly allergic to dogs. This is especially unfortunate as JULIE has some anxiety issues, this will be very hard for her. We are hoping to find a foster home or even better, a "forever" home for JULIE. Here is what JULIE's mom has told us about her:Julie is a super-affectionate dog about 8-9 years old. She loves to sit next to you on the sofa or chair and sleep in your bed. JULIE loves going for long walks, & she likes playing fetch with her stuffed toys inside. She’s non-destructive and won’t damage shoes clothes or furniture, she can be left home alone while her people are at work. Julie is great with children and does not bite. She doesn’t like to compete with other dogs and so would do best as the only dog in the house. Julie has a quirky personality. For example, she doesn’t like being commanded to sit, but if I say, “Can you sit down?” she will sit. She enjoys being talked to. Julie is housebroken. A quick walk in the morning, one after work, and another before bed is all she needs.



Medical needs: Julie takes amitriptyline for anxiety. Originally her dosage was two pills in the morning with breakfast and one in the evening with supper, but we have weaned her down to just one in the morning and one at night. Under a vet’s guidance she can probably be weaned completely over time.

Julie’s right back knee doesn’t bend. She was born this way. This doesn’t stop her from running and jumping and in the snow her leg makes a nice swishy track.





This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick and preventatives.
