Julia's Story
Meet Julia!

Julia is the kind of dog who makes you wonder how she hasn’t already found her forever home. In fact, her foster says she would adopt Julia herself if she could afford the expense of having four dogs — and that says a lot about this sweet girl!

Julia is a wonderful companion with so many qualities to love. She is house-trained, non-destructive, and good with dogs, cats, and kids. She enjoys being part of the family and, after she’s gotten her zoomies out, her favorite place to be is right beside you on the couch, soaking up some cuddles.

Julia does well with cats, too. Like many dogs, she may be tempted to chase if a cat takes off running, but if a cat stands its ground, Julia’s response is more likely to be a playful puppy bow than anything concerning. Once the excitement of a new cat wears off, she settles down and largely loses interest.

She does have a couple of quirks that her future family should know about. Julia can get bored and dig if she’s left outside for too long, and she is an impressive escape artist who can clear a 6-foot fence. Because of this, she will need to be supervised or safely tethered when outside, or have a secure setup that she can’t climb or jump out of. A coyote roller or similarly secure fencing may be a great option for her.

Julia is a fun-loving, affectionate girl with a wonderful blend of playful energy and couch-potato cuddles. She’s looking for someone who will appreciate her silly personality, keep her safely contained, and give her the love and companionship she deserves.

If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, affectionate dog who can be your adventure buddy one minute and your couch cuddle partner the next, Julia might just be your girl!
