Juju's Story

Who has 3 legs, is only 2 years old, is 1 sweet girl?

Meet Juju, a 37 lb cattle dog whose story will touch your heart.

Imagine you’re heavily pregnant and hit by a car…your leg snaps in half, and breaks through your skin.

Then you’re dumped at scary, confusing shelter where people are poking you with needles and running blood tests. Your medical charts are all in the red, and you’re very weak. They make plans to euthanize since rescues keep turning you away.

You birth 4 babies, one of which dies soon after. You’re anemic, parasites are in your intestines, and worms are growing in your heart.

Despite everything Juju’s been through, she is playful, gentle, and goofy. She’s medium/lower energy, very dog friendly, housebroken, and adapts quickly.

She’s shy around new people and tries to hide at first, but doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Once she knows you’re a safe person, she is devoted to you, and will great you with tippy-taps and tail wags.

She is a total flirt with other dogs, and they help her come out of her shell. A lower-traffic household would be perfect for her — kids okay if they’re old enough to understand boundaries and let her decompress.

Someone is going to be very lucky adding this tri-pawed to their family. Is that lucky person you?
