She may be considered “special needs,” but to everyone who meets her, she’s simply extra special.<br/><br/>Jude is sweet, silly, affectionate, and lights up every room she enters. She loves everyone—adults, kids, other dogs (especially puppies!), and even cats. If you're looking for a forever best friend who will love you unconditionally and make you laugh every single day, Jude’s your girl. <br/><br/>Full transparency: Jude is incontinent and wears diapers throughout the day. She needs her diapers changed about 7–10 times daily and has a full wardrobe of fashionable options for every occasion. She does best without diapers when crated or in her baby playpen to prevent yeast or UTIs.<br/><br/>____________________________________<br/><br/>JUDE'S JOURNEY:<br/>Rescued from a Detroit alley in 2022, Jude couldn’t walk or stand. Initial diagnoses included swimmer syndrome and cerebellar hypoplasia, but further testing revealed a large cyst on her brain. After surgery and a full year of intensive rehab, Jude walks—wobbly but determined—and is more mobile than anyone ever expected.<br/><br/>Her transformation is nothing short of a miracle.<br/><br/>____________________________________<br/><br/>WHY WE LOVE JUDE:<br/>She might not be running marathons, but Jude keeps up in her own charming way!
