Joyce's Story

Meet Joyce, one of the most precious little souls in our Stranger Things crew. This tiny Chihuahua mix was found as a stray alongside her buddy Jim through our partners at Operation Kindness. While we'd be thrilled to see them adopted together, it's not a requirement - Joyce simply wants a loving home to call her own.

At around 11 years old, Joyce is a senior girl, but don't let her age fool you. She recently had a dental, feels worlds better, and still has plenty of pep and personality. Her stunning eyes, dainty frame, and gentle demeanor make her a total heart-stealer.

Joyce is snuggly, sweet, and soft in every way. She loves curling up with her people, soaking in affection, and living life at a relaxed, cozy pace. She's the kind of dog who brings warmth and tenderness into any room she enters.

This lovely little lady is so ready to live out her golden years surrounded by comfort, kindness, and a family who sees just how special she is. If you're looking for a gentle companion with a whole lot of love still to give, Joyce is waiting for you.

All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-dogs
