Introducing Joy! She was brought to the shelter on 10/15 because she was on a journey to find her way home and got lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. So she is on a quick search for a forever home that will keep her safe and sound so she doesn't have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Joy is only 6 years old and weighs a mere 51lbs. The volunteers describe her as sweet, cute as can be, lots of energy, and obedient. She would do really well with a big, backyard to help her burn her energy to her hearts content. Active family would be ideal as well. She would be a great running partner once she learns proper leash manners. We are confident she will have that mastered in no time at all. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
