JOY's Story

Introducing Joy! She was brought to the shelter on 10/15 because she was on a journey to find her way home and got lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. So she is on a quick search for a forever home that will keep her safe and sound so she doesn't have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Joy is only 6 years old and weighs a mere 51lbs. The volunteers describe her as sweet, cute as can be, lots of energy, and obedient. She would do really well with a big, backyard to help her burn her energy to her hearts content. Active family would be ideal as well. She would be a great running partner once she learns proper leash manners. We are confident she will have that mastered in no time at all. Just give her the deserving time and patience to practice and learn. Please take some time and visit with her in Run 851; her ID is 14393. She is waiting for you! She will bring you so much JOY if you would just give her a solid chance in your family. Please help her find her way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. When choosing a forever pup, please make sure you have the space, time, energy, devotion, patience, love and lifestyle to ensure Joy has the best upbringing possible. They are lifetime commitments. Period.

Joy is current on vaccines, will be spayed and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. Joy is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life.

Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
