Meet Joy

Note: Dogs are pack animals and do not do well away from other members of their pack. The adopter is the alpha member of the pack, and the dog or puppy needs as much one-on-one contact with the alpha as possible. For this reason, all Route 66 Rescue Inc. dogs are adopted to inside homes only. They must be on leash, or inside a secure fence when outside, and not left outside alone when no one is home. Invisible fencing does not qualify as protection since other animals and strangers have access to the dog. The dogs must be returned to Route 66 Rescue, Inc. if ever given up by the adopter. Thank you for understanding we want only the best for the dogs you give a forever home.

Joy: Joy is a healthy, six year old Border Collie/Cattle Dog that lost her family due a divorce situation. Joy is up to date on medical needs. She is a great house guest in her foster home, housebroken, good with other dogs, cats, and small children. Joy weighs about 40 lbs and is not destructive. This beautiful soul just wants a home where someone will let het follow them around and be part of a family.

If you would like to meet Joy or have any questions please contact Route 66 Rescue, route66rescue@yahoo.com. Her adoption fee is $200.
