Joy's Story
Meet Joy!

Joy is a 7-year-old black-and-white Lab mix looking for a very special home to call her own!

Joy doesn’t have any major health concerns, though she does take medication to help manage her allergies and acid reflux.

When it comes to her forever home, Joy needs to be the only pet in an adult-only household. No children, dogs, or cats for this girl. She also has some reactivity towards other dogs on walks and has redirected toward her handler in the past, so it’s important that her boundaries are respected and that her family understands her needs.

But once Joy learns to trust you, you’ll discover the biggest love bug! She needs someone who will give her time, patience, and understanding without rushing her to be comfortable before she’s ready.

Joy may need a little extra consideration, but the bond you build with her will be so worth it. Give her the patience and respect she deserves, and you just might have a best friend for life.

All potential Forever Fosters must reside within 100 miles of Mt Juliet, TN.
