Joy's Story
Meet Joy our sweet Pomeranian available for adoption through Undercover Angels Animal Rescue!

https://www.uaars.org/

Joy is exactly what her name suggests — a gentle, loving little companion who just wants to be near her people. She’s calm, relaxed, and happiest as a cozy couch buddy… though she will have a few opinions if dinner service is running late.

She does fine with cats (mostly ignores them) and can coexist with dogs, but Joy would truly thrive as an only pet or with another calm, low-energy animal. Younger, high-energy dogs tend to overwhelm her, and we want to find her a home where she can feel peaceful and happy.

Age: 11 years young
Weight: 11 lbs
Spayed
Vaccinated
Dental completed
Heartworm negative

Adoption donation $150

Special things to know about Joy:
• Deaf: Joy cannot hear, but she does wonderfully with hand signals like pointing and gestures. She’s very smart and extremely treat-motivated.
• Crate trained: She loves her crate and will often go in on her own to relax.
• House manners: She has never had an accident in her crate and does well with potty routines when her cues are noticed.
• Stairs: She can manage a small step but prefers to avoid larger staircases.

Tricks: Sit, lay down, dance, and circle — all learned through hand signals (and snacks, of course). 🦴

Joy is a sweet senior who deserves a quiet home, soft blankets, and someone to love her through her golden years. Senior dogs have so much love left to give, and Joy is no exception.

If you think you might be the right home for Joy, please reach out to learn more or apply to adopt.

https://www.uaars.org/

Adoption donation $150
Being fostered in Bay City, Mi
