J O V I E Breed : Chihuahua mix Age: 6 yrs Goal weight: 18-20lbs Meet Jovia, a delightful companion who effortlessly connects with friendly dogs and children, showcasing her affectionate nature through cuddles and snuggles. She excels at leash walking and loves going out for casual strolls and car rides to explore new locations. She is happy wherever her people are - shopping trips, parks, dog friendly restaurants… Jovie is there for it, tail wagging and a smile on her face! Ready to brighten her new family's life, Jovie is potty-trained, doggie door-savvy, and doesn't require a crate, preferring to rest contentedly while her family is away. Due to her wonderful leash manners and mellow, quiet nature , Jovie would be an excellent apartment companion when given time out to explore with her person as well as for someone with a fenced yard. Jovie came to be with Rosalie and Friends after her owner sadly passed away. And while she has been on a weight loss journey with us, she has met significant milestones and is now seeking her forever family to continue her journey. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: https://form.jotform.com/223268341300041 We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills. Please give us up to 48 hours to respond. Submission of an adoption application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee approval. We look forward to hearing from you. Please note all animals in the home must be altered, up to date on vaccines, and be on heartworm prevention. We understand there are some special cases and will take those into consideration.

Rosalie and Friends's Adoption Policy

Adopters complete an application which is screened by the board. Screening is followed up with a phone call and if all are in agreements a home visit/meet & greet is scheduled. Applicants must also sign an adoption contract agreeing to provide routine/necessary veterinary care, provide a safe and loving inside home for their new family member and to return the animal to Rosalie and Friends should a situation arise where they could not keep the animal.
