Josie has lived with both cats and dogs in the past, and while she has always been a shy girl, she has shown that she can open up and even become playful with other dogs once she feels safe. Since arriving at the shelter, she has been very timid and unsure, but we've been taking things at her pace – and it's working. With patience, gentle encouragement, and plenty of space, Josie has slowly started to warm up and show us glimpses of her sweet, sensitive personality.
