Josie's Story

Josie is an 18 month old femaile weight 60 lbs. She is a happy girl who loves to meet other dogs, big and small. She can be cautious with people at first, but loves to get her pets and scratches. Josie loves to go on walks and hops right into the car to start adventures. She walks well on a leash, takes treats gently and uses the doggie door. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is not barky. She has good house manors although she can't seem to help but pick up any socks left on the floor and trot around with them. She doesn't love her bath but loves to run in streams and she enjoys the beach. However, she didn't like the waves crashing so instead she jumps over them into the shallow water. In the house, she will be your shadow ... liking knowing where the people are. Josie is a very quiet dog, well mannered (except she is a stock stealer ... but will only steal one, carry it away, drop it somewhere and forget about it). She is being fostered in Scotts Valley with 2 other adult dogs. Josie is a bit shy with new people so best with older kids. She is gentle around young kids, but shy and is not a hugger, not a cuddler, which little kids sometimes don't understand. Josie is spayed, microchipped and has had all her shots. She is ready to meet her forever people. Please contact us if you would like to meet Josie.
