Joshi's Story
Meet Joshi - the little stoneboy who turned soft again

When Joshi arrived to Squishy Face Crew back in September, he was in heartbreaking shape. Rescued from a hoarding situation, his skin was so damaged it looked like he was made of stone, and the world felt far too big and overwhelming for him. He was undersocialized, unsure, and simply trying to survive.

Fast forward a few months, and this brave 8ishyearold gentleman has discovered that the good life is very much worth living. With steady care and patience in his foster home, Joshi has blossomed in the sweetest, quirkiest ways. His coat is still patchy, but his skin is now healthy and pink, and his fur is growing back in. More importantly, his personality is growing in too.

Joshi is proudly the "little weirdo" of the house - and his foster family wouldn't have it any other way. He has the funniest mealtime celebrations, watches the kids with gentle curiosity, and gets along beautifully with dogs and cats. He's also a cratetraining superstar.

Like many dogs from hoarding situations, Joshi is quirky, sensitive, and wonderfully unique. He's looking for an adopter who appreciates a little weird with their cute and understands that unfolding in a new home takes time. With patience and kindness, Joshi will reward you with quiet companionship, unexpected giggles, and the joy of watching a once-forgotten dog learn he's finally safe.

If you're ready to love a oneofakind soul, Joshi is ready too.

Apply to adopt at www.sfcva.org
