Hello! I'm Josephine Yam Candy - better known as Josie - idk why they gave me this ridiculous name?! I guess I'm sweet and soft and like a potato! I ended up at a high volume, open intake shelter with my sister and now I'm learning what it means to be a pet and how to dog! I love other dogs - they make me feel safe around people. People . . . I'm uncertain in a, give me time kinda way. I just need to make sure you know how to give me the best pets first, ya know? I'm all about head and chest rubs and once you've proven your worthiness, butt scratches are my jam! I'm a pretty chill girlie who will happily hang out in my crate. I love to snuffle and have been known to make cute little snorts. I'm also a chewer, a toy fiend, and have adorable bursts of zoomies in the yard! I'm just a playful girl that's learning how great life can be! --- Dog's like Josie are super rewarding! She's gentle, quiet, calm and just needs the kindness and patience of a household with at least one other dog to help her come into her own.
