Jordyn's Story

This beautiful girl is Jordyn! Jordyn is an approximately 4-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier mix and weighs around 50 lbs. She was rescued from a local shelter and has been given a clean bill of health! Jordyn is a fun, energetic, affectionate and friendly girl! Great dog for an active family that will include her in activities and makes sure she gets plenty of exercise and fun time! A securely stockade fence is a requirement. Jordyn is good with other dogs of her energy level and playfulness. She is protective of her food, so just needs to be fed food & treats separately from other dogs. She will chase cats, so no cats in the home. Jordyn is too energetic for small children, so children 8+ would be best. She is a great dog who just needs a chance. Jordyn rides excellent in the car and LOVES playing in water! She would love trips to a lake or watering hole! Jordyn is crate-trained, does better with a harness when walking, and since she is in daycare, we are not sure about house-training, but will most likely need at least a refresher course in it. Jordyn is spayed, current of vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225. Since Jordyn is in a daycare situation, she qualifies as a foster-to-adopt or just as a foster. Forever Yours Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Every dog that is rescued by Forever Yours is checked by a veterinarian, vaccinated, spay/neutered, dewormed, heartworm/ehrlichia tested and treated if needed, and microchipped. We also treat any other illnesses or issues that the dog may have on intake. We require an adoption application (FYDRadopt.com), but we do not require that you give us your first born or the deed to your house to adopt from us. Our adoption fee is $225.00. If available, you will get an opportunity to talk to your chosen pet's foster family when you meet your potential new family member. This will enable you to ask any questions and learn all about your pet. Forever Yours Dog Rescue does not have a facility, all of our wonderful rescues are in foster homes with families that take care of them and love them until their forever homes come along. We are currently not holding adoption events and doing all adoptions through an online application and then setting up individual meetings for potential adopters. Therefore to meet a dog, we ask that you fill out an application so we can see if a good fit first. The application is in no way an obligation for you to adopt.
