JORDI's Story

JORDI THE DIPLOMAT

UPDATE! Jordi 's foster mom tells us that he finds comfort living with another dog, so this is now a requirement.

Jordi is a one-year-old, 50-pound study in good manners and good humor. Clean in the house and blessedly quiet, Jordi doesn’t bark just to fill silence. He’s agreeable, calm when left alone, and shows none of the anxieties that can make young dogs a challenge. He simply observes, learns, and fits himself in.

Jordi came from a rural farm litter and didn’t meet many people as a pup, so he’s still learning that humans outside his trusted circle can be friends too. Jordi is confident but cautious and prefers to scrutinize a new human before deciding they are safe. Give him that time, and he’ll repay it with deep loyalty, affection, and playfulness. Once you’re in his circle, you’re there for good.

What he did learn, early and well, is how to be a terrific dog companion. He thrives in the company of other dogs and takes social cues beautifully. If someone steals his toy, he won’t argue, he’ll just bide his time and reclaim it later, without fuss. His communication style is disarmingly gentle, a soft nudge of the nose when it’s time for a break, or an invitation to toss the ball around for fifteen minutes. With dogs, he’s the same way: sociable, kind, and funny. Jordi is confident but cautious around new people.

He’s energetic and athletic, but also content to crash on the couch after a romp or a good chew session. Left to his own devices too long, he might dig or steal a dish towel for a game of chase not out of defiance, but out of youthful mischief.

Jordi would do best in a home with at least one other playful, well-socialized dog and people who enjoy the outdoors; folks with patience, empathy, and an appreciation for relationship-based training. Kids 10+. No cats. A property with a fenced-in area is a great asset. Jodi is healthy, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Jordi will make the right home not just livelier, but better.

If you are interested in JORDI please apply at:

NO DIRECT MESSAGE INQUIRIES PLEASE
Please note we only adopt to Montreal and nearby surrounding areas.
