Jordan is a 2-year-old, 92 lb purebred German Shepherd who was recently transferred to us from Milltown Animal Control after being surrendered by his breeder. He is under-socialized and nervous, but has been very gentle with everyone he has met thus far. Since we do not have any history on him, we will not place him in a home with children under 16 years. He got along well with his brother (who he was surrendered with) so may do well with another dog in the house.<br/><br/>Jordan is currently enrolled in a training program with Playtime Pet Resort trainer Harmonie, where he’s working on building confidence, leash manners, and foundational skills he’ll need to thrive in his new life. We typically receive many applications for every dog we post. All adoption meetings are by appointment.<br/><br/>Our dog adoption fee is $450 for dogs aged seven months to seven years old, and $250 for dogs aged eight years and older. Every dog we place receives age-appropriate vaccines, is treated for worms, ticks, and fleas, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and spayed or neutered before adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash. Please fill out the adoption application if you would like to be considered for a dog in our care.<br/><br/>With few exceptions, dogs are happiest and well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families willing to commit to both.
