My name is Johnnie, a 2yr old sweet pit bull who is eager to learn. My owner was a homeless man that had personal issues that led me to being rescued by a sweet young man in the neighborhood.<br/><br/>I sat and waited for a meal that he prepared for me and a cozy bed that was all mine. After a few days I was introduced to his pack and got to play with all different sizes of dogs. I even met his cats that didn't seem to mind me checking them out.<br/><br/>I love to snuggle when I can. I enjoy being outside feeling the breezes knowing that I'm safe each night. I have learned crate training but I do whine a little. A distraction Kong seems to help though. I only know how to sit at this time but I get so excited to learn. I love walks, enjoy car rides and most of all, I love having doggy friends.<br/><br/>I got to hang with a few young children and boy were they fun. Snuggling on top of them and playing ball with them was fun. We could chase each other for hours but they had to go home. I dream each night looking for my forever home. A home that will share tons of memories and laughter. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
