Jones's Story

Hi everyone! I'm Jones, a Pit Bull Terrier, and I'm the new kiddo at Paws Place! My friends here are still learning all my little quirks and what makes me special, so stay tuned to learn more about me! I'm heartworm positive, but don't worry, I'll receive the care I need here at Paws Place. Maybe this fall, we'll fall head over paws for each other! Jones is located at our rescue facility - 242 George II HWY, Winnabow NC 28479 We are open Tues-Sat 10am-2pm. No appointment necessary. Check out our adoption process on our website!

Paws Place Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process can take anywhere from 5-10 days. We require that you meet the dog in person before submitting an application. If you have had a previous dog in the past 5 years we do a veterinary reference check to see consistency of care. If you have a current dog we arrange a dog introduction. After the above steps are completed we set up a home visit to see where the dog will be living. The final step is the completion of the adoption agreement.
