Jonathan's Story

***Jonathan is in a foster home, so he is not at the kennel. If you are interested in him, please fill out an application at K9stray.com and we will be in touch. Thank you.***

Such a happy, playful little guy! Jonathan is estimated to be about 12 weeks old and weighs 15 pounds right now, but he is sure to get bigger. His foster mom has so many wonderful things to say about him:

Jonathan is the sweetest puppy ever! He is great in any situation. He loves to play with his older, bigger foster brother. He also loves to just snuggle on the couch with his head pressed up against your chest. He’ll stay there forever if you let him. He’s good outside in the yard. He doesn’t leave your side and comes whenever he’s called. He’s very sensitive, so the word 'no' means a lot to him and when he hears it, he stops whatever he’s doing. He can also entertain himself with a good chewy. He would be great addition for either a family or a single owner. He's good with other dogs but can live as an only dog. He’s about 50% potty trained so bathroom outings should be on leash just to keep him focused on the job. He gets distracted by nature. At times he may appear a bit head shy but that’s just because he doesn’t particularly like to be picked up. In new situations he can be slightly defensive vocally, but he gets over it in minutes. Jonathan will make anyone a wonderful companion. He will need a home where any children are at least 4 years old.

If you are interested in Jonathan and are at least 21 years old, please fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
