Jolene's Story

Jolene (formerly Journey) came to us in 2019 after being found stray, skinny and injured in the woods of SC. She had surgery to repair a fracture and was adopted out several months later. She is back with us after a life where she lived gated off in a room away from the family with another dog. She has a new life and a new name!! Jolene! When we got her back she was scared and anxious. She's been living at a wonderful pet resort and they have made tremendous progress with her. She is now loving, playful with dogs, seeks their attention, loves her chew toys and doing great. She may be shy initially in a home so a little patience and time to adjust would be good. She is loyal and longs for a normal life where she can be part of a family. Age 7.5. 56 lb.
