Joji's Story

Hi, my name's Joji and EVERYONE says I'm the "friendliest dog they have ever met."  I'm sorry that my pictures show my big sloppy tongue but I'm just so happy that I can't keep it in my mouth!  I'm quite a big boy, weighing in at over 120 pounds and I need a strong friend who is willing to walk me and provide me with lots of adventures.  I'm a 2-year-old Lab mix and really quite smart. I know some basic commands but sometimes choose to wait till a treat is promised before showing off this knowledge—I told you I'm smart!  I have played great with multiple dogs, both male and female.  When I was a pup, I was around cats but haven't been exposed to them for quite some time, so my caretakers aren't sure how I'd do with one in my new home.  Did I mention I love everyone, including children?  My human friends think that I am a bit much for smaller children so older children would be best with me.  I really don't like being left home alone and am quite vocal about it, so perhaps an apartment isn't the best place for me.  If you are looking for a sweet, big-headed, friendly boy, please write my friends at Radford Pound Pals to see if we might be a match for each other.  I'm neutered, current on vaccines and HW/Lyme combo tested (negative) and ready to start my new life with my new family.
