Calling all Point Break movie fans! Today is the day! I’m just a Johnny Utah looking for my Bodhi. IYKYK. <br/><br/>I’m Johnny Utah, named after the Keanu Reeves character in the movie Point Break! I’m male, 2yrs, 55lbs, German Shepherd/ Labrador Retriever mix (breeds verified with DNA test), neutered, vaccinated, & microchipped. I’m potty, crate, leash, & car trained.<br/><br/>True to my breeds, I lead with my Lab side with other dogs and my GSD side with new people. I am the most playful, goofy, social butterfly, and funny boy who loves to run and play with other dogs. I match energy extremely well and love playing with my dog sibs! I also love, love to find the teeny tiny dog toys and throw them up in the air and entertain myself! I keep my Foster Mom smiling on the daily! I also seek out affection often from my person. Walking up and nudging my person’s arm to remind them I am here and would love some chin scratches or better yet, some ear rubs! In true GSD fashion, I lead with some caution and shyness with new people, but luckily, I warm up quickly, especially when I can follow another dog. I am a loyal boy to my person and will follow you all over the house and yard too, just wanting to be near you.<br/><br/>I was found abandoned on the side of the road in Senatobia, MS. I started in the local Senatobia shelter, found my way into a local foster home in MS, before making the trip North to my current foster home in Michigan, all thanks to the wonderful Senatobia Shelter and Charlie’s Rescue teams. Shout out to them for saving me and giving me a second chance!<br/><br/>Still surfing? Every day. My dream home will include another friendly dog for me to follow, fenced in backyard for us to run and play, and a calm environment. Apply to adopt me in Michigan through Charlie’s Rescue.
