Johnny cash's Story
He’s just a BABY, folks!

Born around 8/30/26, this handsome little mystery mutt isn’t even 8 weeks old yet! And while he may have big dreams of being a grown-up dog, right now he’s just a tiny puppy trying to figure out this whole being a dog thing.

And honestly? We think he’s doing a pretty great job.

He’s sweet, affectionate, curious, and absolutely LOVES other dogs. He’s a submissive little guy who enjoys playing with his canine friends, is being raised around kids and cats, and has already mastered the very important art of melting into your arms for cuddles.

He’s also discovered stairs, thinks everything deserves a little taste test with his puppy teeth, and hasn’t quite figured out why going potty outside means he shouldn’t save a little extra for the living room.

Because he’s a baby. A literal baby!

He didn’t have littermates to help teach him appropriate puppy play, so his foster family is working on those important early lessons like bite inhibition, boundaries, and house training. He’s already sleeping through the night, doing wonderfully with crate training, and learning more every day!

We don’t expect an infant puppy to have the manners of a grown dog, and neither should his future family. What we DO expect is for him to continue growing into a wonderful companion with patience, consistency, and lots of love.

We’re unsure of his breed (possibly a Shepherd mix?) but anticipate he’ll grow to be around 50 pounds. That’s 50 pounds of potential best friend!

He’s not quite ready to pack his bags just yet!

He won’t be available for adoption until he’s at least 8 weeks old and ready for his next chapter, but we’d LOVE to start reviewing applications now so we can find the perfect family to help him grow up.

We’re not looking for someone who expects a perfect puppy. We’re looking for someone who understands that the best dogs aren’t born knowing everything. They’re raised with love, patience, and a little bit of grace.

Apply today at brunosfoundationrescue.org
