Johnny

Johnny is a retired hunting dog from Virginia. He and two other beagles came into the rescue together. They were surrendered because they weren't interested in hunting. Johnny is 3 years old and weighs 27 lbs. He likes other dogs, but is a little timid around people. He is beginning to loosen up. He loves treats so that has helped him learn that people aren't so bad! Johnny will do best in a quiet home, without a lot of activity and either an all adult home or one with children over 8. Johnny would love to have a fenced in yard and another dog to play with.  He is expected to arrive February 20.
