Because of this, he's looking for a family that understands boundaries, is happy to feed him safely in his own separate space (like a crate or a separate room) and is ready to continue working on positive reinforcement training with him.<br/><br/>The ideal home for Johnny:<br/>--An adopter experienced with or willing to learn about managing resource guarding<br/>--A home without super young kiddos who might not understand boundaries around mealtime<br/>--Someone dedicated to routine, structure and lots of love<br/>--Someone who won't put Johnny outside on a chain when things get tough<br/><br/>Johnny is proof that a dog doesn't have to be perfect to be the perfect addition to your life.
