Joey's Story

HI - I'M JOEY! I'm a 1-1/2-year-old beautiful American Eskimo Dog recently rescued from a crowded California shelter. I weigh about 40 lbs. The shelter was a scary experience for me, but I am doing better now that I'm out of there! I love to go on walks and hikes, and I love the water! I'm a beautiful boy who deserves the very best home. Please email for an application. I'm currently still in California, but can be transported to Minnesota after Labor Day.

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Once adopters inquire about an animal, we send them our application. From there, we interview them via phone, and when possible set up a meet and greet if we feel they are good candidates to adopt. We also have fosters in the three states mentioned and they help as well with meet and greets, photos and of course care of the animals.

Our Mission

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. saves animals from shelters in Southern California, and helps place them in loving homes on the West Coast, primarily in California, Oregon and Washington. Our goal is to help animals who have had a rough start in life go on to live happy and healthy lives.
