Joey's Story

Joey is a male Shepherd and Lab mix (our best guess!) who is approximately seven years old, and currently weighs about 60 pounds. He was brought to our shelter on 2/21/26 after being found in San Lorenzo. He hasn't been reclaimed by his previous person, so he's now looking for a new home! He has been vaccinated, neutered, and micro-chipped. <br/><br/>His adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). His neuter surgery has been sponsored! Joey qualifies for Fluffy Dog Friday and Senior Sunday! Adopt him on a Friday or a Sunday and we'll waive his adoption fee!

All adoptions take place in person at the East County Animal Shelter. Our address is 4595 Gleason Drive, Dublin, CA 94568. Our phone number is 925-803-7040. We are open seven days a week (excluding county holidays) from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm. Please arrive early enough to give yourself time to get acquainted with your prospective new pet before we can begin the adoption paperwork. Please contact the shelter for information about adoption fees.
