Joey's Story

This is Joey and I am almost 4 years old. Like his Friends namesake, he likes to stare deep into your eyes..."How YOU doin'?" He's not much of a face licker. That takes time and patience with him as Joey only gives kisses to a very select few and only when he deems that you've really earned it! He loves to play and run and bark at new people. Until they touch him, that is, and then he melts into you like chocolate. His nickname is the ferocious marshmallow, because he loves to let you know a stranger's walking by, but he would roll over for a belly rub in a heartbeat if that stranger were willing to give it. He likes to play with balls and squeaky toys and will even play tug a little if he's feeling feisty. He's good on the leash and really enjoys walks, but he's still learning that he's not a sled dog, so no pulling is allowed. He's a lover, not a fighter. If you are interested in this sweet boy just contact us at the email below and we will hook you up with his wonderful foster mom!
