He is neutered, microchipped, house trained, and up to date on all of his vaccinations as of last month.<br/><br/>Joey is a very sweet dog and, in the right environment, can be a wonderful companion. However, he is not a dog for everyone and will require a very specific home. Joey does not do well with other dogs, so he must be the only pet in the home. He should also not be placed in a home with children. Because of him becoming aggressive after a new dog was brought into the home, his new owner must be an experienced, confident, assertive adult who understands that Joey’s behavior must be managed responsibly and consistently.<br/><br/>Joey needs a quiet, adult-only home where there are no other pets and where his boundaries will be respected. His adopter must be willing to continue working with him. <br/><br/>Despite his challenges, Joey is generally a great dog with a lot of love to give.
