Joey's Story
Joey - Male - Young
Age: approx. 1 year (DOB approx. December 2024)
Size: approx. 50 lbs, 22 inches at the shoulder

Meet Joey!

Smart, energetic, and always ready to learn! Joey is a lanky teenage boy who brings a whole lot of love, laughter, and motivation to get out and enjoy life! Joey loves a routine, car rides, sleeps through the night in his crate, and also when his foster family is away from the home, is housetrained, and knows basic obedience and commands and genuinely loves to practice them.

Joey is a true enthusiast for all things fun, happily entertaining himself with games, toys, puzzles, or a good chew. He’s a social butterfly who thinks doggie daycare is the absolute best, thriving as he learns boundaries and how to read other dogs’ cues—though he currently assumes every dog wants to play! Joey’s dedication to learning shines through; he did great in his obedience class and is an A+ student, thanks to his excellent focus and being highly food motivated. This makes him exceptionally well set up for training, whether at home, on leashed walks, or in class.

Furthermore, Joey is a gracious host who happily welcomes all visitors (even the repairman!) and is currently practicing sitting politely when greeting new friends. When the day winds down, he transforms into the perfect companion, loving nothing more than an evening of watching Netflix while snoozing on his dog bed right by your side.

Joey is a bright, affectionate teenage pup thriving with guidance and continued training helping him navigate the world around him. If he sounds like someone you would like to know more about, reach out and we can chat to see if he is a fit for your home.

Adoption fee is $295. He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed and current on vaccines.
