Joey's Story
Joey may be his name but he's earned the title of Mr. Congeniality! It didn’t start that way. On arrival, Joey was skittish when approached, fearfully backing away when we attempted to greet him. Now in a loving foster home, Joey’s sunny personality really glows. He gets along with all his canine foster siblings, big and small. He loves lap time with his foster Mom, and he generously shares her with other littles who hop up to join the snuggle fest. He appears to be house trained, and he rides nicely in the car. He loves to tuck himself under blankets to nap and when it’s time to play, he enjoys a good old game of tag with his canine friends. Joey is still hesitant when meeting new people and he tends to mouth when he is anxious or excited so an adult only home or a home with kids aged 13 or older with friendly household dog would be the best fit or Joey. He warms up quickly to new people and he is ready for his forever home.

Ready for your next best friend?
