Meet Joel – A Sweet Soul Ready for His Forever Home<br/><br/>Joel is a one-year-old sweetheart who is ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family of his own. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, disease-negative, and microchipped.<br/><br/>Joel came to us from a neglect situation, and with patience and kindness from our Animal Control Officers, he learned how to trust again. What emerged is a dog who is incredibly sweet, friendly, and eager to connect with people. He is very smart and has just begun basic obedience training, where he is already showing great potential.<br/><br/>One of Joel’s most endearing traits is the way he “talks” to you with soft little grunts—it’s absolutely charming and will melt your heart. He enjoys companionship and does well with other dogs.<br/><br/>We have not yet had Joel around children, and we do not cat-test dogs at the shelter, as it is stressful for the cats.
