Jinx's Story

Meet Jinx!

Jinx is a sweet, playful, slightly dramatic husky girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart! She's affectionate, social, funny, and has a way of making everyone around her smile.

Jinx came to PIPs with an old fracture in her front foot. Her injury has healed, and she's continuing to build strength in that leg. She occasionally has a little stiffness in the mornings, but it certainly doesn't stop her from running, playing, and enjoying life. And here's the funny part: her foster family swears she sometimes brings out her limp when she's looking for a little extra attention.

Jinx currently lives in an apartment with another husky, who she absolutely adores, and a cat who she's very curious about. She's doing great with apartment life, proving that even a husky can appreciate a good balance of playtime and relaxation!

She's almost completely potty trained, with just an occasional accident, and continues to work on her puppy manners. She's smart, outgoing, loves other dogs, and has just enough husky personality to keep things entertaining.

Jinx would love a family who appreciates her playful spirit, affectionate nature, and occasional flair for the dramatic. Whether she's romping around with a dog friend or settling in for some snuggles, she's just happy to be part of the family.

Ready to fall in love with this funny girl?

Apply at pipsrescue.org/adopt

Once we receive your application an adoption counselor will take a look and reach out with any questions. The team will check personal, vet references and check with your landlord if applicable. Your adoption counselor will then set up a time to talk with you and your family (or anyone else involved in the adoption process in your home). This call is a good time to ask any questions you have. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster of the PIP(s) you are interested in. From start to finish, this process can take anywhere from a few days to over a week (so please be patient!). If everything goes well and you and the foster agree that the PIP you want to adopt is a good fit, we will then finalize the adoption.

Our Mission
PIPs key focus is dogs with special or medical needs (who we call Pip-abled), however, we have many non-PIP-abled dogs too!
