Jinx 's Story
Please complete an adoption application directly on our site www.suesrescue.com

Meet Jinx, a beautiful young mixed-breed girl with a big heart. Born July 29, 2025, she weighs approximately 50 lbs, but Jinx is still very much a baby — just in a strong, athletic body. She came into care after being removed from a stressful situation, and since arriving she has decompressed beautifully and shown what a loving, loyal companion she is.

Jinx is affectionate with everyone she meets and absolutely adores children. She currently lives successfully with a 7-year-old child and would do best in a home with children 7+ simply due to her size, strength, and enthusiastic play style. She is curious, observant, and very intelligent, always paying attention to what’s happening around her. She loves to follow her people from room to room and prefers to be close to her family — she’s a true companion dog.

She is very social with other dogs and loves to run and play. Because she is still learning her size and strength, she currently does best playing with dogs her size or larger.

Jinx has typical large-breed puppy energy. She loves running, playing in the snow, chasing balls, and carrying around her water dish for fun. She also enjoys relaxing on the couch (often right beside you or behind your head if you let her!). She is very smart and eager, which will make continued training rewarding for her and her family. She is currently working on leash training.

She is well-behaved in the home, not crated when left alone, not destructive, and communicates clearly when she needs to go outside — she will whimper or go to the door. She sleeps on the couch and enjoys being near her people at night. She rides well in the car and is highly food motivated, currently eating Blue Buffalo.

Jinx is scheduled to be spayed at the end of February.

Jinx would thrive in an active home with space to run, time for training, and lots of love. A active family with a fenced yard would be ideal. She is a wonderful, affectionate, smart young dog who just need continued training, and a family ready for big puppy energy.

If you’re looking for a loyal, fun, loving companion who will be by your side through everything, Jinx may be your girl.
