Jingles's Story

Meet Jingles.

At almost 5 years old and just over 10 pounds, this little guy has already been bounced around from place to place far too many times. All of that change has left Jingles terrified and guarded, and he needs a home that understands his behavior is rooted in fear and uncertainty.
Jingles is looking for an adult only home, potentially with one person, where things are quiet, predictable, and there are little to no visitors. He needs someone experienced and patient who understands that trust will not happen overnight and who is willing to let Jingles show affection on his own terms and at his own pace.
Jingles knows what he wants and isn't a fan of sharing. He has lived with another dog before, but any potential canine companion would need to be a very careful, individual match.
This is not a dog who should be expected to adjust to a busy household or a lot of new people and situations. Jingles needs a very specific kind of home, one that can give him the consistency and security he has been missing.
For the right person, willing to see past his fear and give him the time he needs, Jingles may finally be able to let his guard down and show just how much love he has to give.
